SML has secured over £2.7 million in grant funding for clients to date

To date SML has assisted over 35 Housing Associations to secure
grant funding towards the procurement and installation of solar water heating and solar photovoltaic energy solutions on a range of properties. These include care homes, new build developments and refurbishment programmes.

Of the £7 million allocated to solar water heating under the Low Carbon Buildings Programme Ph.2£2,7 million has been secured by SML on behalf of its clients. Projects range from individual installations to large housing developments, spanning a total of 148 individual sites. Other beneficiaries have been schools, community buildings and charities. £4.2 remains to be allocated to solar water heating projects under the scheme and as such we urge all Housing Associations, RSLs and not-for-profit organisations to apply now.
